Hi all,

I am creating a number of symbol parts recently and trying to put it all in one server so that everyone can refer to the same library path, but I am now having problem with the library created.

I created 2 schematics to test the library:

1) all component library are saved under "worklib" folder

  • I create schematic using the library in "worklib" folder
  • Export physical successfully.

This shows that the library do not have any problem.

2) All components library are saved under another folder outside of "worklib" folder, called "lib_for_all",

  • I have changed the "cds.lib" to link to"lib_for_all"
  • I created schematic using the symbols from "lib_for-all" <-- mean the link to the library folder is correct.
  • Export physical but fail!
  • Error msg from pxl.log is:
  • " #1   ERROR(SPCODD-305): Cannot find file 'chips.prt' in lib.cell:view 'lib_for_all.diode:chips'.
Expected a chips file for cell 'diode' because this cell has no hierarchy.  Verify you have saved all schematic changes for this cell and provide a chips file if appropriate."

Do anyone have any idea?

Thanks in advance!
