Being a LONG time user of Orcad (since the early 80's) when the time came to transition to the new platform I had a difficult time. I finally broke down and went to a training class which helped immensely. I also joined this forum and asked many questions along with going on a few rants about my difficulties making the change.
After working with the new platform for a couple years now I have become very fond of it and actually find it difficult to go back to the old platform to maintain some customers legacy designs. I'm probably pushing 100 designs on the new platform and each one is getting easier and I'm still learning how to use some of the features
I recently had a question that I could not resolve myself and logged in under a customers account (Sagetech) and asked the question. Within a short period of time Old Moudly replied with the correct info. I started looking through the various threads that have posted recently and the same people who extended their knowledge and assistance to me are still at it - helping others get up to speed. It takes a lot of dedication to continuously check the board and post helpful advise.
I would like to thank (in no specific order), Steve, Old Mouldy and Redwire who almost always responded to my questions with the correct helpful information as well as entertaining some of my rants off line.......... You giys spend a lot of time helping others and I, for one, appreciate it!
