Hi!
I've been trying to set up a system where I run the CIP database and CIP Web Server on Microsoft Azure Virtual Machine (that is, a cloud server). When I try to connect from my client computer, I get the login screen normally. I login as "Admin", but I always get this error message:
Message: Failed to initialize licensing...ERROR (LMC-01902): License call failed. The license server search path is defined as <none>. Can't find license file. Run 'lic_error LMC-01902' for more information.
On the server side, I have set up System variable CDS_LIC_FILE with value 5280@rg, rg being the name of my client machine having the license.
The license as such works fine on the client computer. I can use Capture and PCB Editor without problems. It's just this CIP that causes problems for me.
What could be the problem?
