I have reinstalled OrCAD Capture 16.6 twice now and can't seem to solve this. The program is rendered unusable without the "place component" feature. When I press P or "Place Part" nothing happens - the place window does not come up anywhere.
Possibly related, when I hit "save project as" a white window comes up blank and I cannot press anything:
