- Good day everyone!
So, recently I've been tasked to design a small board with a differential pair connection.
The problem is that diff pair calculator shows me that while the differential impedance is close to ideal 100 ohms (around 103, to be more accurate), single line impedance gets to 200 ohms. If I understand everything correctly, it should be twice LOWER (around 50 ohms).
Reference layer exists, it's a Ground net.
What settings should I change/set to make the results more adequate?
Thank you for your help!
- P. S. I am new to high speed design and signal integrity problems, I apologize if my question is silly.
