Daft question!

Hi,

Im having a daft moment! would it be acceptable to tie all the client VCC’s, i.e. VCC_A0.1 to VCC_A0.4 as shown to output a common VCC_I2C?

Im designing an instrument that will have a standard loop powered 4-20mA current transmitter output to the clients supervisory system.  The instrument accepts 4 AIs as its sensors, and and  shall be capable of conveying these 4 independent ranges to the clients system with the help of multiple AD420s (only one shown so far). Now, there is a component missing (I’ve not converted its bxl file yet) t which will provide galvanic isolation (ADUM1250 for my I2C comms between the pic and the AD420. Now I will have only one AD1250 then multidrop to the AD420s. I need to supply a “feild” power for Vdd2 of the isolator and my intial thoughts were that I would use VCC_A0.1 to supply my regulator, but then realised that what if nothing was connected to J3, maybe the client only connected to J4. Therefore my question is, would it be acceptable to tie all the client VCC’s, i.e. VCC_A0.1 to VCC_A0.4
