Background:A little over a year ago, engineering was forced to upgrade to Windows7, forcing a re install of 16.5 or upgrade to 16.6. Both paths were chosen, along with a hold out on XP running 16.5, who had no such issues until he upgraded 9 months later. The results were the same, we could no longer save artwork files on the network or create .psm files, however when working from the C: drive (local computer) everything works just fine.
1) there are spaces in the network directories, as there are spaces in the local directories.
2) even when all spaces are removed, the same results are produced.
3) I have worked directly with our IT department, we have turned all virus software off on isolated network directories, but this is not the issue. (according to them)
Cadence has reviewed the issue and says it is a network configuration issue, anyone have any idea what the issue might be or where to look?
