How define own part templates for converting PSpice libraries into Capture libraries using the Model Editor?

Hello,

I have a PSpice library (*.lib) with a great number of PSpice models. All models have the same structure. They are defined as a subcircuit with two terminals.

When I use the PSpice Model Editor to convert this PSpice library to an OrCAD Capture library (*.olb) all parts get the well known “subcircuit square” as symbol. So I have to open the OrCAD library within Capture and change the symbol of every part by hand. This requires a lot of work.

As I know the Capture parts created by the Model Editor are based on the (template) parts in “C:\Program Files\Orcad\Capture\Library\PSpice\modeled.etc”. I already defined a template part for the models of my library within "modeled.etc". My problem is, how do I show the Model Editor to use this template? Where or what is the link between the PSpice model and the template part?

Best Regards
Guido
