I have created a cavity opening on all of the layer on the 8 layer board I am working on. Now to make changes to this board I need to add 2 more layers. So first I copied the shape from another layer and moved it outside the board outline. I then switched the layer it was on to one of the new layers. I then moved it to match where the other layer openings were and then placed it. The problem is when I add more copper pours to fill out the rest of the board it doesn't leave the area open. It shows the outline of the cavity but it is flooded over and not open. The screen shot show the outline over the solid pour. This worked on the other 8 layers but I can't figure out what I am doing wrong as it won't leave the area open from copper. The second picture is from a different layer but of the same area of the board.
I created the outline using Shape/polygon then under Active Class and Subclass I picked Cavity and under Shape Fill Type, I selected Cavity since that is what the property is shown for the other layer outlines. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?
Thanks
